About rain sound effects
Rain sounds like a steady hiss made of thousands of tiny impacts, too close together to hear one by one. What the rain lands on gives it its color. Leaves and grass make a soft hush, asphalt and concrete a brighter wash, sheet metal a hard clatter, and open water a fine, glassy fizz.
English has a small family of words for it. Light rain patters, or makes a pitter-patter; heavy rain pours, drums or pelts down, and a real downpour roars. Distance matters as much as strength: rain right overhead has a grain you can almost count, while rain across a field or over a city blurs into one low hiss.
How to write it in Korean

Which one to pick
Roofs and covers
Steel Roof Rain and Container Roof Rain have a hard, metallic edge, while Tiled Roof Rain and Canvas Awning Rain sound softer and more drummed. Umbrella Rain is the closest and most muffled, like standing under fabric.
Water surfaces
Still Pond Rain, Pool Surface Rain, River Surface Rain and Rice Paddy Water give that fine fizz, for scenes near water or rain with no hard surface in it.
Streets
Pavement Rain, Night Tarmac Rain and Highway Sheet Rain suit urban shots, and Storm Drain Rush adds water running down a gutter.
Light, heavy, near, far
Gentle Continuous Rain and Winter Concrete Drizzle are the lightest; Torrential Roar and Monsoon Full Force are as heavy as the set gets. Far Hills Rain and Receding Rain sit far back, a safe choice under dialogue.
Uses
Video editing: Rain Glass under an indoor shot beside a window, Night Tarmac Rain under a street at night.
Games: give each surface its own rain, so stepping from a gravel path onto a wooden deck changes what the player hears.
Podcasts and audio stories: a faint bed such as Far Hills Rain sets a gray evening without fighting the voice.
Classroom: Gentle Continuous Rain, then Monsoon Full Force, when teaching drizzle, shower and downpour.
Each clip lasts a few seconds and is made for editing, not as an all-night sleep track; for a longer bed, repeat one with a short crossfade.
